A specially-convened theremin quartet of myself, Charlie Draper, Alina Davies and Sam Enthoven will give the first-ever live performance of my piece Stillness (2017/2018) for two or more theremins/thereminists on the 26th of May at Steep. The location for the event is The Intimate Space at St Mary's Tower, a wonderful imtimate venue with amazing acoustics. Space is limited so this is likely to sell out.
"STEEP – a new night for adventures in electronica, improv and sound art, hosted inside The Intimate Space, a 16th century church tower in Hornsey and all that survives of the original medieval structure. Tonight’s artists: Greta Pistaceci and Howlround. Physical space in the venue is strictly limited, making for what we hope will be a uniquely intense experience. Best book ahead to be sure of getting in. Tickets are available here. Howlround will perform an exclusive new tape loop piece created especially for The Intimate Space, while Greta Pistaceci will perform her piece ‘Stillness’ for two or more theremins/thereminists, accompanied by Charlie Draper, Alina Davies and Sam Enthoven."
