On the 17th of January I will be performing at Beyond 2001: New Horizons at the London College of Communication, as a member of Unknown Devices. "Launch Night, Lecture & Performance | Beyond 2001: New Horizons Celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Stanley Kubrick Archive at the University’s Archives and Special Collections Centre, students will produce and show work alongside invited artists and academics that offer new perspectives inspired by archive material from 2001: A Space Odyssey. A cross-school collaboration celebrating all things screen, the exhibition will be set in motion with accompanying performances, events, panels and workshops, punctuated by screenings for staff and students. The launch night begins with the Inaugural Stanley Kubrick Lecture from Peter Krämer, later in the evening a performance by Unknown Devices is led by David Toop, and the the exhibition is open to view all evening."

On the 13th of January I will be performing with Paradise Yard at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, improvising a live score to live animation by Kim Noce, as part of the London Short Film Festival. "Supporting emerging artists moving image, With Teeth - LSFF's commissioning fund supported by Arts Council England - premieres three new experimental short AV works from Kim Noce, Zoe Aiano and Tash Tung, straddling ethnography, animation and structuralism, accompanied here by each artist’s influences and inspirations. PREMIERE: YOUR MOTHERS ARE MINE! dir. Kim Noce A beautifully realised animated work exploring the complexities of the mother-daughter relationship. + An experimental multimedia live performance with music by Paradise Yard Ensemble and projected live animation drawn by Noce, expanding the themes of the film through improvisation. PREMIERE: IMAM PESNU dir. Zoe Aiano A wild and delicate documentary peeling back the layers of a life spent communicating with the dead. + Further Work dir. Zoe Aiano, showcasing her talent for visual ethnography on the border between documentary and art, social practice and experimentation. Including exclusive character excerpts from Imam Pesnu; Beautiful and Strange and New (2014) and in progress project Krampus (2018). PREMIERE: UNKNOWN PLEASURE dir. Tash Tung A multi-screen fiction exploring the multiplicities of the image and female domesticity. + Light Reading dir. Lis Rhodes, 1978, an experimental work on 16mm exploring ”…the possibility of a new direction in film, not to be co-opted by an overriding definition.” – Peter Gidal"
